I went from "Ahahahah, Star Trek, please..." to "Oh. My. GOD. I must see this movie." And I did - in iMax and then in regular theaters twice after that. The trailer completely convinced me to give it a chance. That line about his father being captain for 12 minutes, saving 800 lives, dare you to do better? Love that kind of thing, I eat it right up.

Apparently TicketMaster can facilitate person-to-person ticket sales. You set the price, and work the payment through their site with a buyer. TicketMaster collects some sort of transaction fee (of course) but guarantees the validity of the tickets, etc.

J.J. takes musicians' gear -- like strings, drumheads, guitar picks, setlists etc. -- and incorporates them as design elements into very cool products like purses and key chains.

She teamed up with Carbon Leaf and offered several limited edition purses on the last Rock Boat cruise.
