Last night was our unborn daughter's first Carbon Leaf concert, at Park West in Chicago. We got there late, both because it takes a damned long time to go 2 miles in a city (from my friend's where we were staying) and because parking sucks. $25 later we had a place to park, but the friend we were meeting there warned me that the seats were filling up and he hadn't been able to get seats for the five of us. I need to sleep. I have class in 5 hours! But the big coffee and can of pop I drank on the drive home are mixing with the hyperness to make me tired but not asleep.

So I will write a quick recap.

Carbon Leaf played in Bloomington tonight. They did not expect a super large crowd. They did not receive a huge crowd.. maybe 40 people?

After playing WAE and OPO, Barry said they didn't really have a setlist. And it was an intimate crowd.. so they would take some...

Tonight was amazing!! It was like Carbon Leaf's greatest hits night. The guys have been in such great spirits this year and it absolutely showed tonight! The crowd was packed in tight eating up every second ... except for Terry's pun about playing us some Nep-tunes.

For those who showed up extra early, the guys played 5 songs around 3:45 while doing sound checks.
